Frameworks are sets of TDL scripts that make "standard" subtrees for performing "routine" functions. To be compared with the larger specialised LEGO blocks. They unburden the script writer, and make TDL scripts much more readable. Their disadvantage is that the user cannot see the details of what is going on inside them, and it is less easy to modify them.
