Final Program

The final program can be accessed as a Google calendar. Use the "Week" view button at the top of the page.

Official Workshop Photo

(Also available in hi-res PDF):

For inclusion in reports and other documents where swimming pools may not be appreciated, we have the boring version (also in hi-res PDF).

Finally, there is a completely unofficial but PG-rated animated version.

Remote Access

The meeting is being broadcast via EVO. If you do not have an account on EVO, please register yourself, it's free. Click on "Start" to start up the EVO client, which is called Koala. Our meeting name is "3GC-II" (use Meetings: Search if you don't see it in the list), and the meeting password is "beams".

Miscellaneous Notes

Stephen Bourke: Build notes for Casa on ubuntu 10.10

I tried these instructions with ubuntu 10.04. Everything seems to build until we arrive at the Qt stuff. Although the current casa/CMakeLists.txt claims to look for QT 4.3 OR 4.5 the fact is that qt 4.7 is required due to a QLineEdit object calling the setPlaceholderText function, which was not introduced till Qt 4.7. I've installed the Qt 4.7 SDK - now I just have to figure out how to tell the CMake to find the right libraries etc. - Tony Willis

Yeah, that issue is actually the reason I upgraded my own system to 10.10 and wrote the above notes. It's due to the new region manager that was introduced in r15960. I did wonder if the dependency bump implications of using that function were known / intentional (maybe not as Cmake doesn't check for version 4.7 as you mention) I'll drop the NRAO a mail about it... - Stephen Bourke
