Powder Snow Slabs are an item that can be used in place of Powder Snow Bucks for recipes.
They were added in Version 1.3.0b.

Powder Snow Slabs can be used in place of Powder Snow Buckets for various recipes. They stack up to 64, making them a handy form of storing Powder Snow Buckets as they both function the same.
If placed on the ground, they create 4 layers of Snow, which isn't helpful unless you really need Snowballs for some reason. The layers also don't stack if played on top of each other. Just don't place them.
Although they technically can be displayed in an Item Frame, there isn't really a point?
Powder Snow Slabs can be used to craft the following items:
- Plain Ice Cream and Chocolate Ice Cream
- Rotten Tomato
- and all Snow Cones
