Fix Folder Permissions (Advanced): If you must use a custom nested folder, follow the steps on the VirtualBox Forums to configure security permissions: Create your target folder (e.g., C:\VBox). Right-click the folder, go to Properties > Security > Advanced, and disable inheritance. Run an elevated Command Prompt and apply strict access controls using icacls so that regular users only have Read & Execute access while Administrators retain full control.
