The karst towers are normal NeoForge worldgen, so you can override them with a datapack. Most tuning (spacing, size, block, greenery) is easier in the config. See Config Pillars.
| File | Controls |
|---|---|
data/fogged/neoforge/biome_modifier/karst_pillars.json |
Which biomes get the tower feature |
data/fogged/worldgen/configured_feature/karst_pillars.json |
The feature itself |
data/fogged/worldgen/placed_feature/karst_pillars.json |
Its placement |
data/fogged/worldgen/structure/karst_isle.json, karst_ridge.json, karst_pillars.json
|
Markers for clusters and ridges (used by /locate) |
data/fogged/worldgen/structure_set/*.json |
Marker spacing |
data/fogged/tags/worldgen/structure/karst_pillars.json |
All three markers, so /locate structure #fogged:karst_pillars works |
Override the biome modifier:
data/fogged/neoforge/biome_modifier/karst_pillars.json
{
"type": "neoforge:add_features",
"biomes": "#minecraft:is_ocean",
"features": "fogged:karst_pillars",
"step": "raw_generation"
}If you change where towers generate, also set the same biomes in the three worldgen/structure/*.json files, so /locate still points at real towers.
Set generatePillars = false in the config. Alternatively, override the biome modifier with "type": "neoforge:none".
Worldgen changes only affect new chunks.
