This board includes a standard 40pin header as most of our UP series platforms.

To get started with the UP Squared, you will need the following:
- Monitor
- HDMI cable (or another video cable with a HDMI adapter)
- USB keyboard and mouse (use a USB hub should you need to connect more than 2 USB devices)
- PSU: 5V6A PSU (power cord sold separately)
Also, if you need to install/reinstall the operating system, please prepare the following:
- USB flash drive at least 8GB
The following setup procedures are for the UP Squared based products, which do not come with operating system preinstalled.
You may also follow these procedures when you need to reinstall the operating system.
Software packages from the Intel Edge Software Hub are compatible and validated with our platform. Here are direct links to install the following software packages:
