Languages

Shipped with the plugin:

File Language
en_US.yml English
ru_RU.yml Russian
uk_UA.yml Ukrainian
de_DE.yml German
es_ES.yml Spanish
he_IL.yml Hebrew
ar_SA.yml Arabic
# config.yml
language: auto

auto gives each player the language their client is set to. Name one, such as ru_RU, to pin it for the whole server.

Your own translation

Drop languages/<name>.yml into plugins/CDisc/ and set language: <name>. Keys you leave out fall back to English, so a partial translation works.

Start from en_US.yml and keep two things as they are:

  • Placeholders. %s, %d and the rest must stay in the same number and the same order as in English. They are filled in by position, so a swapped one puts the wrong value into the message or breaks it.
  • Colour codes and commands. &7, &f and command names like /cdisc create are not translated.

The shipped files are refreshed on every update, with your edits kept, the same way as the config files.

Right-to-left languages

Hebrew and Arabic are written right to left, which Minecraft's chat does not lay out, and Arabic letters are not joined. The words are correct; the rendering is the game's.

Translations are welcome as a pull request on GitHub.
