Item Categories
The classic Slimefun wiki became useful partly because it grouped hundreds of items into understandable categories. Slimefun Legacy keeps that idea, but the in-game Guide remains the authoritative category list for a particular server.
Common classic categories include:

When you have a specific goal, do not try to remember which category every intermediate item lives in.
- Search for the final item with
/sf search <item>or the Enhanced Guide search. - Open its recipe.
- Follow unfamiliar ingredients backward.
- Bookmark components you make often.
- Build reusable production lines for repeated materials.
For factory progression, the common path is:
Resources → Components → Electric Machines → Energy → Cargo → Advanced systems/addons
Addons can introduce completely new categories. Large Legacy installations may contain many more pages than the classic core alone.
If you are lost:
- Use
/sf search <item>. - Bookmark a progression goal in the Enhanced Guide.
- Work backward through its ingredients.
- Identify which addon owns the item if it is not core Slimefun.
- Check Addon Ecosystem if an older addon behaves differently on Legacy.
See Enhanced Guide, Addon Ecosystem and Glossary.
