Metadata IG (Rosie) Conducted a Internal Survey Discussing up coming changes from Nat’s demo & what it means for metadata Discussions on providing possible number of content types. Identified complications on the update process and discuss how to approach a fix and document it.

IR interest group (Bryan) https://docs.google.com/document/d/1E3gSHaC6PzEVuWtOO7R0dsnn4Fu2hS4GneebLHU6W54/ Lots of progress in the way of planning. IR8 has a demo site. We are currently adding to it and as we can. We have a Roadmap Doc to simplify our delta doc and we’re developing a list of fields to start with for a thesis/Dissertation. We are building a list of examples to host on the site as well.

Documentation Interest Group (David, Melissa, or Mirko) Wrap up last sprint David is stepping down from as co-convenor. Amy will be taking his position in convening the meetings as part of the 3 person hosts setup for summer until someone else takes over in the fall.
Doing a 2 week sprint starting on Wed to Wed Using the I8 tech call as the kick off and wrap-up meeting Sign up sheet & test case list, please review the test case sheet if possible. Discussion around the issues with Islandora Defaults. Breaking it apart and addressing how people can get updates. Basic restructuring Streamline some workflows Rosies asked if we could create a meeting for the technical and non-technical group to come together to discuss: What is Islandora, what are objects, and how does Islandora differ from a basic webpage? Some issues Danny is working through Islandora.ca had some css issues Sandbox is having issues resetting.
Summer of Islandora - getting really good response rate since sending the first communication out Brainstorming Document Sign Up Form Communication Document
- At brainstorming meeting we spoke about doing an info gathering session mid-way through to gather feedback from the community on what they would like to see going forward
- Proposed doing a "JamBoard" session with participants to gather ideas, then we can use this to generate content for upcoming User's Calls and Open Meetings
Emails went out yesterday and day before, there was an issue with the date (wrong one was in the email). It was suppose to say June 29 A large response so far. ICC meeting discussed June meeting to plan July & August Kind of Demos and tutorials. Hosting a Jam board sessions opened during the session of what they’d to see. Drew: Working out migrating from 7 to 8. IR 7 to IR 8 isn’t clear. They want to know how they can help to get I8 closer to a ready product. Danny: Nothing to update Don: Born Digital just rolled out a bd-base release. Wrapped up our first of several multilingual sites. We have 3 more coming soon. We are currently working on remote videos, and just wrapped up an implementation of access control. Ian: Technical question about multi-file media. Amy: ICG providing a testing report should be coming out soon. This should help to identify functional & feature parity and places what might be missing and needing attention. Rosie: IslandArchives content migration into ISLE and developing an install profile. Starting June or July Rosie will be taking a time (2 years) to work on Islandora. Identify how Rosie can help the community. Looking into getting Internet Archive book reader on how to make it function with Islandora 8. Brandon: Nothing new to report, just start experimenting with ISLE8
