Prepare and Install the SD Card (AD7768 1)

This can be done with a Windows host. Follow the instructions included in the case in which your kit was shipped to determine whether this step is required. Or check the contents of the SD card on your host file system. If you don't see the image already installed, then proceed with the instructions below.

Copy the bootable image to the SD card using a Windows host

  1. Download the SD card image ad7768-1_tei0022_02_adi_hdmi_20210308.tar.gz

  2. Extract the SD card image from the binaries archive using 7-Zip

Since the file is a tar.gz, two passes of 7-Zip will be required to extract the SD card image file.

  1. Get disk imaging software Win32diskimager

  2. Insert the SD Adaptor. Use Windows Explorer to determine the drive letter

  3. Select the Image File. Navigate to ad7768-1_tei0022_02_adi_hdmi_20210308

  4. Press the Write button
