Coodoo's screen looks like a development environment such as IntelliJ: a bar at the top, narrow strips with buttons along the sides, and tabs in the middle. Below we go through all of it.

The bar at the top

From left to right:

Part What it does

The strips with buttons

On the left, the right and the bottom left are buttons that open a window. Some open a panel on the side, others a full page as a tab in the middle.

While the autopilot is working, Goals, Run and Team get a little dot.

Moving buttons

Would a window be handier on the other side? Drag the button to the left, right or bottom. Or right-click the button and choose Move to…. With Restore default layout you put everything back. Coodoo remembers your layout and the width of the windows.

The middle: tabs

The Autopilot tab is the dashboard and is always there. Pages (GitHub, Release, Project map, Statistics, Documentation), files and diffs open as extra tabs. Close a tab with the little cross or with a click of the mouse wheel.

The dashboard

  • At the top: the goal Coodoo is working on, with the progress (3 of 5 tasks · 60%) and the phases.
  • Tasks: the goal's tasks and their status (Planned, Being built, In review, Being fixed, Done, Failed).
  • Recent activity: the most important messages.
  • Team: a card per agent showing what it's doing.
  • Up next: the next goals in line.
  • Your app's security and Security: see Security.
  • Components: your project's version numbers.
  • Shared knowledge: shortcuts to the team's research, design, tech, plan and notes.

If there's nothing in the queue yet, the dashboard shows the steps to get started.

The status bar at the bottom

Here you see the phase and the task (task 2/5), whether there are open Dependabot alerts, whether there are updates, and Coodoo's version. Click the version for About Coodoo and updates.

Multiple projects

Each window has one project. If you open a second project in a new window, both autopilots can work at the same time. On the Mac, the agents keep working when you close the window.
