|---|---|---|
| 26.3, 26.2, 26.1.2 | 5.5 | 25 |

Every file is named wildcreatures-<loader>-<minecraft version>-<mod version>.jar, for example wildcreatures-neoforge-1.21.1-2.0.0.jar. Pick the one that matches both your loader and your Minecraft version and put it into the mods folder.
Wild Creatures must be installed on both the server and every client. The server decides where creatures spawn and what they do, the client draws their models and animations.
The config files are created on the first start in the config folder. See Configuration.
None of these are required. Wild Creatures detects them on its own and turns the matching features on. Details are on Integrations.
- Expanded Foodsystem: raw meat drops
- Loyal Companions: selected creatures as companions
- Season System: seasonal butterflies
- Xaero's Minimap / World Map: creature icons
- Biomes O' Plenty: creatures also spawn in its biomes
Worlds load without changes. Ducklings from older versions turn into baby ducks the first time they are loaded. Your config keeps its values, and new options are added with their default values on the first start.
