Fistful of Steel

Fistful of Steel was an [artscene] crew based out of area code 612, founded by Royal Assassin and Inazone, who eventually took the reins solo, in May of 1995. Over the next two years, it released six artpacks, culminating in the second tourstop on the Mistigris World Tour in January of 1997. What distinguishes it from all other groups is that at that point it uniquely pivoted from being a computer art crew that released artpacks to being a label that released emags, still called Fistful of Steel, about the artscene, full of guest contributions from members of other groups. Initially the mags were just a directory full of uncoded emag assets shared in a zipfile, but eventually they got programmed into proper emags. Starting in May 1997 they released 12 issues into the following year, before wrapping, as many things did, in 1998.
