The Immortal Syndicate

The Immortal Syndicate was a serious would-be demoscene group operating in area code 604 from 1993-1995, a period in which unfortunately, despite living in the shadow of Gravis, there wasn't a great deal of demoparty activity taking place nearby (or even on the same continent!) Populated with a number of rigorous music-trackers (Shock Wave, Syxx, Synergy, E-motion and especially [The Pope]), it also boasted some strong assembler proggramming muscles (flexed by Raptor and Nutcracker, who SysOp'd its WHQ Digital Dimensions along with Syxx.)

Their releases included both individual tracks and music disks, (incuding The Pope's [Six Pack], a joint iS/MiST release), demo programs, tools and source code. The Pope served as liaison between them and Mistigris, leading to the establishment of The New Media Group.

In 2015, The New Media Group released the collected salvaged works of the Immortal Syndicate, though we only managed to scrape together a third of their documented releases -- the rest is considered lost media.
