We create networks & subnets in OCI to securely divide, control, and efficiently manage cloud resources and communication

🧠 Simple Idea

👉 VCN= Your private cloud network

👉 Subnets= Smaller sections inside that network

👉NAT= Network Address Translation is a service that allows private resources inside a VCN to access the public internet, without exposing them directly to the internet also its blocking all direct inbound internet access.

👉SG=Service Gateway is a VCN gateway that lets your private resources access Oracle services privately, without using the public internet

Without Service Gateway Private VM → NAT / Internet Gateway → Internet → Object Storage

With Service Gateway Private VM → Service Gateway → Oracle Services Network → Object Storage
