Normal Tower

The normal tower arena shows the companions battling in 3D. Cropped from an earlier-build screenshot; current layout may differ.
Equip a living companion, choose gear in Equipment, and check health, food, and energy. Tower entry has minimum readiness requirements and spends food and energy. If entry is blocked, read the message beside the controls—it explains what to restore.
Normal mode has 100 floors. Floor arrows select an available floor; the crossed-swords icon starts the fight. Clearing a floor selects the next floor after the victory presentation, but does not start another battle automatically. Replays remain useful for training and rewards, although first clears have better rewards.

Select Balanced, Aggressive, Defensive, or Specialist before battle. Cropped from an earlier-build screenshot; current layout may differ.
| Style | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Balanced | Mix attacks, specials and occasional guards. |
| Aggressive | Favor attacks; guard less often. |
| Defensive | Guard more often while keeping attacks moving. |
| Specialist | Favor a ready offensive special. Healing stays manual. |
Choose before the battle. The pet then takes automatic actions using that style, available abilities, and cooldowns. Style is a preference rather than a fixed repeating sequence; the system also avoids an unbounded streak of guards. Speed helps determine action order. The pause/clock control pauses the fight.
Healing is manual and instant. You can also heal between fights. In normal combat, a ready healing special may be used first; otherwise the control uses an herb or, if possible, buys one at the current price. Hover to see which action is ready. You cannot use it to revive a dead pet or waste a heal on a full-health target.
| Display | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Red enemy HP bar | Normal enemy |
| Gold enemy HP bar | Elite enemy |
| Silver enemy HP bar | Rare enemy |
| White damage over enemies | Damage your pet dealt |
| Red negative number over your pet | Damage received |
| Green positive number | Health restored, including supported healing effects |
| Guard, miss, and status text | Defensive actions, missed hits, or a changed condition |
Poison and burn deal damage over time; frozen and slowed conditions affect actions or attack speed. Hover the small debuff square for the actual effect and duration. Guard can prevent new harmful effects. The red battle-screen warning appears below 25% health. Settings also offers a floating pet HP bar that follows the model.
XP appears on the pet; tokens, supplies, gear, or crates appear in the reward presentation. Check waiting loot if capacity prevented delivery. Level-up healing applies to the pet that levels after the finishing action.
Death is permanent for that pet. The defeat view fades to grayscale. The discovery remains in Collection, and retirement can return the pet's gear and some trainer XP. If the next floor looks unsafe, rest, change gear, or train elsewhere rather than assuming every unlocked floor is ready to win.
