Dev-only differences at this baseline

2026.09.19.13: Last modified terminology, clearer dry-run outcome/space summaries, quarantine readiness/recovery indicators, grouped action results/retry guidance, and more accurate diagnostic completeness severity.

2026.09.19.14: shorter Appdata Sources dialog with internal scrolling.

The other documented major flows, including download-only diagnostics, saved-template management, concise detection reasons, all bundled locales and native themes, are already part of the reviewed stable baseline.

Updates and release notes

Use the canonical channel URLs in Installation and Updates. Versioned archives are built with the manifest checksum; copying source files is not a complete installable release.

The manifest's top version changelog is the release-note source for stable promotion. Read notes before changing channels or downgrading.

PR test packages

Maintainers can apply the test-build label to a PR to trigger a package for that exact head SHA. The workflow artifact lasts 14 days and includes INSTALL.txt.

The standalone local manifest embeds the package and verifies its checksum, while retaining the canonical dev update URL. It does not publish a release/tag or make the PR stable. Check normal CI results and follow its exact installation instructions.

After testing, explicitly reinstall the published dev manifest. A test version can be ahead of published dev, so an update notification may not switch it back.
