Support and Contributing

Get help or report a bug

Use GitHub issues or the Unraid support topic.

Include:

• Plugin version and stable/dev/test channel.
• Unraid version, browser, theme and language when relevant.
• Exact steps, expected result and actual message.
• Whether Docker/Compose, custom roots or ZFS are involved.
• Fresh sanitized diagnostics after reproduction.
• A screenshot with private paths/names reviewed or obscured.

Do not post raw templates, environment secrets, cookies, entire state directories or unsanitized logs. If a diagnostic is partial, include its collection status rather than editing the JSON to make it appear complete.

Use the repository's bug, feature or release/update templates as appropriate.

Feature requests

Describe the workflow and desired outcome, including how it should interact with Safe Mode, recovery and existing protections. A UI convenience must not silently weaken deletion safety.

Translation corrections

Provide locale, screen, existing phrase, proposed complete sentence and its context/count. Plural categories can need different wording; do not submit only a translated noun without the surrounding sentence. Catalog tests are not native-speaker review.

Code and documentation

See Developer Guide for source layout and validation. Work from the current dev branch, keep changes focused, add meaningful regression evidence and avoid private fixtures.

Wiki corrections should identify the affected release/channel. Keep dangerous-action descriptions precise and distinguish currently shipped behavior from proposals.
