Polygluttony translates between any two of these 15 languages:

The file tag goes into the output name: translating ep01.ass into English gives ep01.eng.ass.

Chinese → English gets the most

Polygluttony was built for donghua, and the Chinese → English pair has extras the others don't:

Chinese → English Any other pair
Prompt A dedicated one, with donghua genre knowledge, honorifics (前辈 → "Senior", 师父 → "Master") and rules for on-screen titles A general-purpose one
Glossary Built and updated as part of Translate; edit, import, look up names online Only with a Chinese source. Its built-in prompts ask for English terms, so check them, or change the prompts
World type Detected, and steers terms and tone Only with a Chinese source
Tones All five All five
Clean-up of leftover source text ✓ Only when the source has its own script (Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Thai…)

Other pairs work, they just get less help. Both prompts can be changed on the Prompts page.

How the source language is detected

The first time you open a folder, Polygluttony counts which writing system the dialogue is in and picks the most common one. Japanese is recognised by its kana, so Chinese with a few stray kana still counts as Chinese.

Languages written in the Latin alphabet (English, French, Spanish…) can't be told apart this way. For those, the folder starts with the last language pair you used. Set it on Episodes under Edit; Polygluttony remembers it for that folder.
