Consume System (Monster Parts)

The Consume system lets you permanently increase your Max HP by devouring monster body parts. It is one of the most important sources of survivability in the game, especially for pushing high-level content like Ascent, Codex, and Uber bosses.

How Consume Works

  1. Loot monster parts during combat (they drop from normal enemies, bosses, and special encounters).
  2. Consume them into one of 8 body slots.
  3. Each equipped part grants a permanent Max HP bonus.
  4. Slots are permanent — once unlocked, they stay unlocked forever.

You manage everything with the /consume command (or through the inventory in some flows).

Inventory Limit: 20 parts. You can bulk discard low-level parts.

Hematurgy System

There are 8 slots for the Hematurgy system, unlocked in this order:

Slot Unlock Cost (Primordial Blood) Emoji
Head 500 💀
Torso 500 🫁
Right Arm 1,000 💪
Left Arm 1,000 🤜
Right Leg 1,000 🦵
Left Leg 1,000 🦿
Cheeks 50,000 🍑
Organs 50,000 🫀

Monster Eggs

Some monsters drop Eggs instead of (or in addition to) parts.

Egg Type Emoji Passive Points Rarity
Normal 🥚 1–5 Common
Rare 🪺 5–10 Uncommon
Giga 🐲 10–20 Rare

Eggs can be consumed at the Consume menu and grant Passive Points. Alternatively, you can incubate eggs at the Hatchery to fight them to get Monster blood.

Once you have unlocked slots and gathered blood, you can access Hematurgy — a deep customization system where you imbue your body with powerful permanent passives.

Blood Types

  • Primordial Blood (🩸) — Used to unlock slots
  • Evolutionary Blood (🧬) — Used to upgrade passives (T1 → T5)
  • Mutative Blood (☣️) — Used for high-risk mutations (T6/T7 and transformations)

Passives

There are 15 main passives + 5 mutated ones. Examples include:

  • Reverberation — Echo attacks can chain
  • Iron Momentum — Consecutive hits give stacking ATK
  • Ward Inoculation — Converts ward into massive defensive power
  • Spectral Waltz — Build blades on hits and release them on crits
  • And many more (use in-game /mod_details or the Hematurgy menu for full descriptions)

Passives can be upgraded, mutated, or replaced. Mutation is high-risk/high-reward (50% chance to delete the passive), or can be used to delete a passive you don't want.

Tips for Consume

  • Prioritize unlocking all slots — the later slots (Cheeks & Organs) are expensive but worth it.
  • Consume high-ilvl parts — they give bigger HP bonuses.
  • Use Bulk Discard to clean out low-level junk.
  • Remember to Hatch Eggs — this keeps the blood income flowing.
  • Hematurgy is endgame — focus on basic part equipping first, then dive into passives once you have stable blood income.

Synergies

  • High Max HP makes Ward more effective (Ward is % of Max HP).
  • Many Hematurgy passives reward a certain build archetype.

Devour your enemies. Grow stronger.
