Inventory
Your Inventory is where you store, inspect, equip, and upgrade all your gear. It is one of the most frequently used systems in Idleology.
You can open your inventory with the command:
/inventory
The inventory is split into two main views:
- List View — Shows all your items in a paginated list (default view)
-
Gear View — Unified tabbed view focused on your six equipped slots (
/gear)
There are six equipment types:
| Slot | Emoji | Command Shortcut |
|---|---|---|
| Weapon | ⚔️ | /weapons |
| Armor | 🛡️ | /armor |
| Helmet | 🎩 | /helmet |
| Glove | 🧤 | /gloves |
| Boot | 👢 | /boots |
| Accessory | 📿 | /accessory |
- Each item shows:
- Level and name
- Key stats (Attack, Defence, Rarity, Ward, PDR/FDR, etc.)
- Any passives or upgrades
-
[E]marker if currently equipped
Clicking any item opens a detailed view with:
- Full stat breakdown
- Current passives / essences / upgrades
- Action buttons:
- Equip / Unequip
- Upgrade (Forge, Refine, Temper, Enchant, Reinforce, etc.)
- Discard
From any list or gear view you can use Mass Discard to quickly clean out low-level junk. You specify a maximum item level — all unequipped items at or below that level are deleted.
Tip: Your active companions automatically gain XP when you discard items.
Every item can be upgraded in multiple ways. The available options depend on the item type:
- Forge — Unlock or upgrade a weapon passive
- Refine — Improve Attack, Defence, and Rarity
- Voidforge — Sacrifice another weapon to steal its passive
- Infernal Engram — Apply powerful Infernal passives
- Temper — Increase PDR or FDR
- Reinforce — Boost main stat (Attack or Defence)
- Imbue — Grant a standard armor passive
- Celestial Engram — Apply powerful Celestial passives
- Enchant (Potential) — Level up or unlock passives
- Reinforce — Boost main stats
- Essences — Apply powerful stat essences (or corrupted essences)
- Enchant (Potential) — Level up or unlock passives
- Void Engram — Apply powerful Void passives
A late-game tool that lets you copy stats from one item to another of the same type while preserving passives and essences on the target.
- Use Gear View (
/gear) when you want to quickly compare your equipped items across all slots. - Keep your inventory clean — use Mass Discard regularly.
- Prioritize upgrading your weapon early — it has the biggest impact on damage.
- Save high-level parts and strong passives — they become extremely valuable later.
- Check
/mod_detailsoften to understand what different passives actually do.
Your inventory is your power.
