Getting Started
Welcome to Idleology — a deep, text-based idle RPG played entirely inside Discord.
Build your character, gear up with powerful equipment, master combat, and push into challenging endgame systems like the Ascent and Codex. Everything happens through clean slash commands and interactive menus.
Use the command:
/register <your name>
This creates your adventurer profile. You only need to do this once.

/inventory— Check what you're carrying
The core activity in Idleology is combat.
Use:
/combat
You can fight every 10 minutes. Each fight gives you XP, gold, and a chance at equipment drops.
Tip
Combat is the fastest way to level up early on. Try to stay on top of your cooldown!
Most players follow this rhythm:

Fight monsters with
/combat(every 10 minutes) - Gear up using the equipment commands
- Upgrade your gear (forge, refine, temper, add essences, etc.)
- Level your skills (Mining, Fishing, Woodcutting, Alchemy, Slayer)
- Manage Companions & Partners for bonuses

Rest & recover when needed (

Claim daily rewards with
/checkin
As you level up, more systems unlock (especially at level 100).

- Focus on combat early — it's your main source of XP and gear.
- Don't ignore gear upgrades — even small improvements to your weapon and armor make a big difference.

/restwhen your HP is low instead of wasting potions. -
Claim
/checkinevery day for free resources. - Experiment with companions — they provide strong passive bonuses.
- Save your gold early on. Good gear and upgrades are expensive.
- At level 100, the game opens up significantly with Ascent, Codex, and Uber content.
