AssignmentGroup
Before a student can add deliveries on an assignment, they must be registered on an assignment group on that assignment.
For individual deliveries, each student will have their own assignment group, and for collaborative deliveries, an unlimited number of students can be registered on the same assignment group. Deliveries are registered on an assignment group, and all members of that assignment group can view see the deliveries and any feedback registered on the group.
All assignment groups are by default open, which means the student can make new deliveries, and that the assignment hasn't been given a final grade. When an examiner is finished correcting an assignment group, the group is closed to signal to the student that the last feedback is the final grade. When the group is closed, the student(s) cannot make more deliveries.
Students can be registered with a candidate ID on a group. If the assignment is anonymous, this ID is shown to examiners instead of the name of the user.
Examiners are registered on assignment groups. Just as with students, there can be an unlimited number of examiners. This is often required for examinations, which usually require more than one examiner, or at least someone who double checks the results.
