XIV Instant Edit is a Dalamud plugin for Final Fantasy XIV. It sends the models, textures and animations you see in game straight into your editing software, and puts your changes straight back into your Penumbra mods. No manual importing, exporting, TexTools round trips or file juggling: edit, save, and look at the result in game.
These pages explain the main features step by step. They describe version 2.0.0 of the plugin.
- Installation and first-time setup: install the plugin and let it set up Blender and your image editor for you.
- A tour of the plugin window: what the tabs, buttons and status dots mean.
- Your first model edit: send a piece of gear to Blender, change it, and see it in game a second later.
