Troubleshooting
Common problems and what to check. Each feature page also has an "if it misbehaves" section for that feature.
The web UI is on the Full build only. Join the Antihunter Wi-Fi network (password antihunt3r123) and open http://192.168.4.1. If you changed the access point name or password, use the new ones. A Headless node has no web UI; use serial or the mesh.
The most common cause is a missing LoRa region, which stops the radio transmitting. Confirm the region is set on the Meshtastic radio, that the Serial module is on in TEXTMSG mode at 115200 baud, and that the RX/TX pins match your board. Make sure your radio is on the same channel as the node. See Meshtastic radio setup.
Use Chrome or Edge on a desktop; phone browsers and other desktop browsers cannot flash. Try a different USB cable, since some are charge-only. Close any serial monitor holding the port.
Scan the channel the traffic is on. Check that the device is not below the signal filter, and not on the allowlist. Some scans need the right radio set: a Wi-Fi-only scan hears no Bluetooth devices.
A Headless node runs schedules only once its clock is set, from GPS or over the mesh. Confirm the clock is set and the scheduled time is in the future. A repeating schedule has a 600-second minimum interval.
Use a regulated 5 V supply. Unregulated batteries cause voltage instability that can reset the node mid-scan.
Use a FAT32 card. Check SD status under System → Settings → Storage, which can also repair a card.
