Device discovery
The node lists the Wi-Fi access points and Bluetooth devices around it. Each device shows its MAC address, name, signal strength, an estimated distance worked out from the signal strength, and its vendor. Wi-Fi devices also show their channel and encryption. Each Bluetooth device gets a label from the classifier. The node holds up to 200 of each.
The node sweeps the channels you set and records every Wi-Fi access point and Bluetooth device it hears. The results show a count for each device class and a row per device. You can also collect the probe requests devices send while the scan runs.
- Web UI: Scan tab → Device Discovery → Start Scan. Tick Capture Probes to collect probe requests too.

Several nodes can share one scan with Split across nodes, by radio or by channel, so a group covers more ground at once. Set it up on the Scan tab under Device Discovery.
The node holds 200 access points and 200 Bluetooth devices. On a busy site, shorten the scan or raise the signal filter with @ALL CONFIG_RSSI:-70 so only closer devices are kept.
