Build from source

Most people flash from the Web Flasher. Build from source when you want to change the firmware or build a branch.

What you need

PlatformIO, Git, and a USB cable.

Build and flash

git clone https://github.com/lukeswitz/AntiHunter.git
cd AntiHunter
pio run -e AntiHunter-full -t upload        # Full: web UI on its own access point
pio run -e AntiHunter-headless -t upload    # Headless: serial and mesh only
pio device monitor -e AntiHunter-full       # serial output

The first build downloads about 6 GB of tools.

Branches

• main — the stable S3 build.
• beta — adds CSI motion.
• feat/c5 — the ESP32-C5 builds. Use the AntiHunter-c5-full and AntiHunter-c5-headless environments.

Checks before a pull request

make lint       # cppcheck, the CI version
make build      # Full and Headless
