Installation

Install the client mod

For Minecraft 26.3, use:

1. Use a Fabric profile for Minecraft 26.3 with Java 25 or a compatible newer runtime.
2. Close the game.
3. Put Chomagerie, Fabric API and MaLiLib in your instance's mods folder. ModMenu gives you another way to open the settings.
4. Keep only one Chomagerie JAR. Use the normal JAR, not the -sources.jar file.
5. Start the game and join a server running the same Chomagerie version.
6. Press K to open the settings. You can rebind this in Minecraft's controls.

Playing without the client mod

You can still use the server's recipes, Debug Stick, honeycomb locks and crop protection. ShulkerRefill, personal tag settings and the lock overlay need the client mod.

Updating

Check the server's version before updating your client. Close Minecraft, replace the old JAR and restart. Keep your config folder to preserve your preferences.

On versions before 1.6.0, a custom Chomagerie key binding could reset at startup. Update to 1.6.1, then choose your shortcut again if it was already lost.
