naviList is a self-hosted playlist manager and generator for Navidrome. It builds playlists from the tracks already in your library, using rules instead of A.I., and it can import playlists from other places and keep some of them up to date.
naviList is a purpose built playlist manager and generator it doesn't discover new music and doesn't download anything. Playlists are built only from tracks already in your library. It can send artists you're missing to Lidarr.
This wiki explains how each part works. If you only want to get running, start with Getting Started.
- New here? Getting Started covers install, first run and connecting Navidrome.
- Want to build a playlist? Playlist Types shows the six ways to make one. Most people want the Rules Builder.
- Something not working? Check the FAQ and Troubleshooting page.
- Rules Builder - blocks, conditions and shares, and how a playlist gets built
- Rule Terms - every rule you can start a block from or use as a condition
- Similar Artists - radio-style playlists from artists you own
- Popularity - hits, album tracks and deep cuts
- Studio and Live - control how much live material gets in
- Auto-Refresh - rebuild a playlist on a schedule
- Editing and Regenerating - change rules later, or rebuild in place
- Importing Playlists - m3u, JSPF, Exportify and naviList files, with a match review step
- ListenBrainz and Last.fm Playlists - subscribe or save a snapshot
-
Navidrome Smart Playlists - a UI for Navidrome's own
.nspplaylists - Manual Playlists - pick tracks by hand
- Settings - every setting on the Settings page
- Integrations - Last.fm, ListenBrainz, Maloja and Lidarr
- Background Jobs - what naviList does after a library sync, and the Services page
