This page teaches you how to use the bigtech plugin day to day, with simple examples. If any term is new, check the Glossary. To install first, see Installation.
You do not need to memorize anything. The plugin has 4 entry points (the skills), and you trigger them by typing a slash (/) and the name inside Claude Code. You can also just describe what you want in plain language: the plugin recognizes the intent and routes it to the right skill.
The 4 skills are:
| Skill | What it is for | When to use it |
|---|---|---|
/bigtech |
Assembles the team of specialists and measures the size of the project | "organize as a company", "who handles this", "what is the size" |
/proj_software |
Drives the building of a piece of software from start to finish | "I am going to create a system", "build a feature" |
/tab_pendencias |
Organizes the task list in the best order | "what is left", "in what order to do it", "plan" |
/visual-design-director |
Drives the high-fidelity visual design of a product, rendered in the browser | "design this screen", "make it modern", "redesign", "rendered mockup", "dark mode" |
Each skill has its own page with more detail: /bigtech, /proj_software, /tab_pendencias, /visual-design-director.
When you want to structure a project as a software company, start here. The skill calls the Cosimo agent (the Chief of Staff), who measures the size of the project (the porte) and returns the team map: which leaders and which specialists join, and in which phases.
Official porte values are only three:
| Porte | Meaning (short) |
|---|---|
| early | Floor / default. Small or early-stage project. Most C-levels stay dormant. |
| scale | Growing product, more process and more specialists. |
| bigtech | Large / highly complex org; full constellation. |
Headcount alone does not set the porte (complexity, criticality, and scale do). The floor is always early — even a one-person project is classified as early, not as a separate band.
Deprecated alias: if you pass --porte solo, the skill accepts it and normalizes to early, with a short warning. "Solo" is informal language only; it is not a porte category and must not be written into new .bigtech-porte markers.
Examples of how to invoke it:
/bigtech ./my-project
/bigtech "scheduling app for clinics"
/bigtech ./my-project --porte early
In the first example, you point to an existing project folder. In the second, you describe the idea in words. In the third, you give an explicit porte hint (Cosimo still validates it against project signals). The plugin never turns on the whole company for a small project: it calibrates by porte, avoiding over-engineering.
Use /bigtech when you think in phrases like: "assemble the team", "organize as a bigtech", "who leads this", "classify the size", or "structure the project's company".
When the focus is building the software itself (programming, testing, releasing), use this skill. It drives the software life cycle through 5 major phases and only calls the engineers needed for the size of the project.
Examples:
/proj_software
/proj_software "payments API with idempotency"
Use /proj_software when you think in phrases like: "I am going to create software", "new system", "build this feature", or "which flow to follow".
The difference from /bigtech: /bigtech handles the business and leadership side (product, marketing, sales, legal) and delegates the engineering part to /proj_software. On engineering-only projects, you can go straight to /proj_software.
When you want to organize what is left to do, use this skill. It creates and maintains a task table ordered top to bottom in the best sequence, so as to avoid rework. Tasks that can be done at the same time appear in the same "wave".
Examples:
/tab_pendencias --create
/tab_pendencias --show
/tab_pendencias --reorder
What each one does:
-
--create: creates the task table from scratch. -
--show: shows the full table, including what has already been completed. -
--reorder: reorders the table when new tasks come in or dependencies change.
When the table plans a test or an audit whose external tool is missing, the agent offers to install it with your confirmation, using the command that fits your OS (apt/dnf/brew/winget/choco/scoop) and preferring cross-platform managers (pip/uv, cargo, npm). It never installs silently, and it never skips the step without telling you.
The table is written to the TODO.md file at the root of the project. Use this skill when you think: "what is left", "in what order to do it", "plan the steps", or "organize the backlog".
To keep the table fresh, follow a cheap convention: when a commit closes or advances a task, cite its ID in the commit message and update the Status column in the same commit, marking delivered work as pending verification and moving it to done only after the test and audit wave (see Skill: tab_pendencias for the details).
You are not required to remember the slash commands. You can simply write what you want, for example:
- "I want to assemble the team for this project." -> the plugin routes to
/bigtech. - "I am going to create a sign-up system." -> the plugin routes to
/proj_software. - "What is still left to do here?" -> the plugin routes to
/tab_pendencias.
This works because of the bigtech-reinforce hook, which recognizes the intent and steers it to the right skill.
At any moment, the final decision is yours. The agents propose paths and execute them, but on important choices (what to build, which technology to use, how much to spend, what to publish) they ask first, presenting the options with the recommended one in first place. If a decision of yours could cause a problem, a good agent will point out the risk and suggest an alternative, but the final word remains yours.
Whenever a specialist agent is called on a project, it runs a quick start-up check, a "pre-flight of the pending-tasks table": it checks whether the TODO.md file (the task table from /tab_pendencias) already exists at the root.
- If the table does not exist, the agent warns right at the start of the reply that it recommends generating it (by running
/tab_pendencias) before proceeding, and goes on with the task you asked for. It does not create the table on its own, because the one who starts skills is the main thread, not the agents. - If the table exists, the agent aligns the work with it: it respects the waves, the task identifiers, and the prerequisites.
This behavior applies to all 51 agents, from leadership to operational. The goal is simple: to prevent someone from starting to work out of order and generating rework. You do not need to do anything to activate it; it is automatic.
A common path, from start to finish:
-
/bigtechto measure the size and assemble the right team. -
/proj_softwareto drive the building of the software through the engineering specialists. -
/tab_pendenciasto organize what is left and in what order to do it. - At each important milestone (the end of a phase, a launch, a change in team size), go back to
/bigtechto re-evaluate whether the project has grown or shrunk in size.
For the detail of each skill, see /bigtech, /proj_software, and /tab_pendencias. Back to the Home.

Se algum termo for novo, consulte o Glossário.
/bigtech ./meu-projeto
/bigtech "app de agenda para clinicas"
/bigtech ./meu-projeto --porte early
Exemplos:
/tab_pendencias --create
/tab_pendencias --show
/tab_pendencias --reorder
O que cada um faz:
-
--create: cria a tabela de tarefas do zero. -
/bigtech. - "Vou criar um sistema de cadastro." -> o plugin roteia para
/proj_software. - "O que ainda falta fazer aqui?" -> o plugin roteia para
/tab_pendencias.
-
/bigtechpara medir o porte e montar a equipe certa. -
