Description

Digging stick is a primitive tool for digging soil and helps with harvesting certain plants and crops.

Recipe

Carve a Digging Stick from a pole through Woodworking using the following pattern.

Digging Stick can be burned in a firepit to become Hardened Digging Stick.

Usage

Digging stick is an effective tool for harvesting the following blocks:

To effectively harvest gravel, sand and peat a Shovel is needed.

Wooden Peg

Hardened digging stick can be placed in the soil creating a wooden peg.

Hold a hardened digging stick and right click the top of a grass, dirt or clay block while sneaking to place a wood peg.

Damaged digging sticks can be used as well, although they might loose some durability in the process.

Wooden pegs can be simply broken to retrieve a hardened digging stick.

Animals can be leashed to a wooden peg.
