Sled
Sled is an entity that can be used to transfer items.
Carve two unfinished skies from wooden Boards. Then finish the skies by steaming them on a cooking pot to bend them.
Craft two skies together to create sled runners.
Then place sled runners on the ground to begin the construction. The following materials will be needed:
- 2 poles
- 6 sticks
- 15 bindings (bark cordage, leather cordage, twines or strings)
- 1 large hide (or equivalent amount of medium hides)
Place items on the block in the following order:
- Add 2 poles for the handles, then add 3 bindings.
- Add 6 sticks for the frame, then and 12 bindings.
- Finally, add 1 large hide or leather for the cover.
Right-click or break the block to retrieve the finished sled.
Sled can be dragged in similar fashion as leading animals using a leash.
Right click a Sled to start or stop pulling it. Right click wile sneaking to access the inventory.
A player dragging a sled slowly looses nutrition. The rate of nutrition loss as well as the speed of the player is affected by the difficulty of dragging.
Dragging difficulty depends on the load, terrain and weather conditions. Dragging an empty sledge has virtually no impact on the player. Snow greatly reduces the difficulty.
The sled is divided into 2 sections - front and back.
Initially, a section can store up to 8 items of almost any kind, weight and size, although the stack size is limited.
Alternatively, one of the following containers can be placed into the first slot, changing the storage usage.
- Basket - up to 9 items of size Small or less.
- Wicker Basket - up to 12 items of size Medium or less.
- Large Vessel - section can be used to transport a liquid.
- Sled is a precursor to a Wheelbarow and a cart.
