Description

Flail is mainly a tool that is used to separate grain from straw. It can also be used as a weapon.

Recipe

Craft a pole and a stick with binding material together to make a Wooden Flail.

Threshing

Drop grain on hard surface and then right click the top of the block when holding a Flail.

Hard surface is considered raw stone, smooth stone, rough stone and rough stone tiles.

Whole grain is threshed 4 units at a time, producing 2 units of grain and 1 piece of straw. The threshing speed depends on the tool and the kind of grain being threshed.

A simple Pole can be used to thresh grain before binding material can be acquired to make a Flail, however using a pole is 4 times slower compared to a wooden fial.

Notes

  • Threshing grain is intended as a replacement of refining grain with a knife in the crafting grid.
