Smoke House
Smoke house is a multi block structure used for cold smoking food.
Smoke house is a loose structure requiring a number of drying racks to be setup in a specific way.
A valid setup for a singular drying rack in a smoke house is as follows:
- Solid block above and air below
- Solid block to a side and air below and chimney below the air block
- Firepit next to the chimney with solid block above and solid block on two of the three remaining sides.

Build a small chamber with the interior 2 blocks high, and 1-3 blocks wide in both directions. Place Drying Racks in the top row, wall to wall.
Place one chimney block anywhere in the roof and another chimney block in the floor below it.
Connect the chimney in the floor by a series of more chimney blocks to a side of a firepit, forming a tunnel. The tunnel needs to be at exactly 4 chimney blocks long.
The firepit needs to be blocked from the top and two sides.
Unlike hot smoking directly over a firepit, cold smoking does not dry the food at the same time.
Cold smoked food has the same rate of decay as smoked meat, but the decay process is paused for several months.
- Food drying is diabled in the Smoke House due to lack of airflow.
- Only new Firepit can be used to smoke food in the Smoke House.
