Recipe

Wooden shovel can be created from a Board via Woodworking using the following pattern.

Wooden Shovel can be hardened in a firepit becoming a Hardened Wooden Shovel.

Usage

Wooden shovel being a primitive version of metal shovel, it is only effective to harvest the following blocks:

  • Sand
  • Gravel
  • Peat

To harvest clay and dirt blocks it is more effective to use a Digging Stick.

Notes

  • Hardened wooden shovel is slightly more effective and lasts twice as long compared to a wooden one.
