WinterDash — what it is

Know what your Victron Blue Smart charger is doing — at a glance, all winter.

A tiny gadget that reads your charger over Bluetooth and shows it on a little screen or a status light, on a web page you open from your phone, and in Home Assistant if you use it — for a car, motorcycle, or boat battery over the winter.

Free and open-source Victron Blue Smart Demo mode Home Assistant

The software is free and open-source — you only bring your own ESP32 board (from ≈ €5).

🔌  I have a WinterDash 🛠️  I want to build or flash one

You were given one, or set it up already.
You can't break it — unplugging is always safe.

Comfortable with a board and a USB cable?
No building required — flash a ready-made build.

WinterDash dashboard in demo mode — a live charge cycle with the voltage climbing

Watch a full charge, live — this is demo mode. The same view opens as a web page on your phone, or on the little screen on the device.

What you get

👀 Glance and go 🧪 Try it with no charger 🎨 Make it yours
Voltage and charge stage in plain words — charging, charged, or idle. No app to dig through. Demo mode plays a realistic charge cycle, so you see it all working before you pair anything. Put your own car, motorcycle, or boat on the screen with the built-in image converter.
