The banner across the top of the dashboard — and the full-screen screensaver — can be a picture of your own vehicle. Make one right on the device — from a photo, or from an AI drawing if you don't have a good one.

Open the built-in Banner ConverterSettings → WinterDash → +. Drop in a photo, tap Remove background, and it shows a live preview of exactly how it will land on the device — then trims and sizes it for you, for both the dashboard and the screensaver. Save to gallery puts it on the device and switches to it straight away.

No photo? Make it with AI

No good photo of your vehicle? Have ChatGPT (or any image AI) draw a pixel-art sprite of it on a magenta background — the colour the converter wipes out for a clean cut-out.

Create a **retro 16-bit pixel-art sprite designed specifically for a small embedded-device UI**, where the final sprite will be displayed at approximately **100–150 pixels wide**.

The goal is **instant recognition at tiny size**, NOT realistic product detail.

## CAMERA / ORIENTATION — CRITICAL

Show the subject in a **dynamic front three-quarter (¾) view, facing right**, similar to the perspective used for a **vehicle-selection sprite in a retro racing game**.

Camera is **low and approximately level with the middle of the subject**, looking only very slightly downward.

The subject should visually point toward the **lower-right / right side of the frame**.

Use a **shallow ¾ perspective**:

* the front and main side of the subject should dominate,
* the opposite side should create a clear sense of depth,
* only a limited amount of the top surface should be visible.

The perspective should feel **dynamic and automotive**, rather than architectural or isometric.

**Do NOT use an isometric perspective.**
**Do NOT use a bird's-eye or high camera angle.**
**Do NOT show excessive top surface.**
**Do NOT make it look like a technical product illustration.**

Think: **classic 16-bit racing-game vehicle-selection sprite.**

## SHAPE / SILHOUETTE — VERY IMPORTANT

Preserve the **real-world proportions and instantly recognizable silhouette of the specified subject**.

Identify the subject's **2–5 most visually distinctive features** and emphasize those features slightly so they remain recognizable when reduced to a tiny sprite.

Examples might include:

* characteristic body proportions,
* roof shape or height,
* wheel size and placement,
* distinctive front end,
* windshield shape,
* cargo/body configuration,
* spare wheel,
* roof equipment,
* lights,
* bumpers,
* wheel arches,
* other major identifying geometry.

Simplify minor details aggressively.

The result should capture the **visual archetype of the subject**, rather than a particular brand or model unless explicitly requested.

Do not distort the subject into generic sports-car proportions. An SUV should clearly look tall and substantial; an RV should retain its large cabin/body; a van should retain its boxy proportions; a truck should retain its cab-and-bed structure, etc.

## PIXEL-ART STYLE

Authentic **16-bit automotive-game sprite**.

Use:

* large deliberate pixel clusters,
* hard staircase diagonals,
* crisp pixel edges,
* limited color palette,
* approximately **8–12 meaningful colors total**,
* strong light/dark separation,
* simplified geometric highlights,
* selective dark outlines.

**NO anti-aliasing.**
**NO smooth gradients.**
**NO soft shading.**
**NO photorealistic textures.**
**NO tiny decorative details.**
**NO unnecessary surface details.**

Every visible feature must have a purpose when the image is reduced to approximately **120 px wide**.

Avoid fake high-resolution "pixel art" containing hundreds of tiny details. Favor **larger, intentional pixel clusters** similar to an actual game sprite.

## COLOR / READABILITY

The sprite is intended primarily for a **very dark charcoal/black dashboard UI**.

Use **vibrant, saturated colors with strong contrast** against a dark UI.

Choose a natural, visually appealing primary color appropriate for the subject unless a specific color is included in the SUBJECT description.

Use:

* a clear dominant body color,
* brighter highlights,
* significantly darker shadow areas,
* dark selective outlines,
* small high-contrast accents where useful.

Avoid large areas of muddy midtones.

The sprite should have approximately the same **visual density, contrast and readability as a 16-bit racing-game car sprite**.

## COMPOSITION

Wide landscape canvas, approximately **2:1**.

The subject should occupy approximately **75–80% of the canvas width**, leaving comfortable empty space around its silhouette.

Vertically center the subject.

Keep the entire subject visible.

No cropping.

No parts touching the canvas edges.

## BACKGROUND

Flat, perfectly uniform:

**#FF00FF**

Absolutely:

* no shadow,
* no floor,
* no reflection,
* no environment,
* no scenery,
* no glow,
* no text,
* no numbers,
* no branding,
* no labels,
* no logos.

The subject must be completely isolated against the uniform magenta background.

## MOST IMPORTANT TEST

Imagine reducing the finished artwork to **120 × 60 pixels**.

At that size, a viewer should be able to **immediately identify what type of object or vehicle it represents**.

If a detail would disappear or become visual noise at that size, remove or simplify it.

Prioritize, in this order:

**1. Recognizable silhouette**
**2. Correct subject proportions**
**3. Dynamic shallow ¾ perspective**
**4. Strong contrast and color separation**
**5. Important identifying features**
**6. Decorative detail**

## SUBJECT

Before drawing anything, **ask me what vehicle you should draw** — the make and model, or a short description (for example "a red classic Mustang", "a white campervan", "a black adventure motorcycle", "a blue sailboat"). Wait for my answer. Then generate exactly one sprite, following all of the rules above. If I also give a colour, use it as the dominant body colour.

Then save the result as a PNG, drop it into the converter above, tap Remove background (with the magenta option ticked), and save it to your gallery.
