A first edit on a separate copy

- Close RTW3, open a campaign in Privateer, and Validate.
- Right-click the intended nation and open Economy and Unrest Manager.
- Adjust Funds by a small amount and check the projected value.
- Choose Apply, then Save As with an unused folder name.
- Browse to the new copy in Privateer. Validate and confirm the changed funds.
The original folder remains unchanged. For an in-game test, preserve the live slot, then use the complete copied folder with its original slot name and numbered files as described in the restoration procedure. Save As does not register a new game slot automatically.
