Infrastructure and Fortifications Manager
Open this manager by right-clicking a nation in the main window and choosing Infrastructure and Fortifications Manager.
Use this manager to change dockyard size and add or edit supported installations.
Dockyard size controls the maximum ship displacement the nation can build in its own dockyards. Enter the new size, choose Apply, then save from the main window. A disabled control means the required value is unavailable in the loaded save.
The sortable roster shows installations, types, possessions, aircraft capacities, states, and recorded maintenance. Select a built installation and choose Edit selected, or double-click its row.
- Batteries: change the name, supported battery type or caliber, and owned possession.
- MTB squadrons: change the name and owned possession.
- Airbases: change capacity within the permitted limits. Name, site, and identity remain fixed to preserve aircraft assignments. Capacity cannot fall below the needs of assigned air units.
The manager does not convert freely between installation families, such as an airbase and a coastal battery.
- Choose Add installation.
- Select a supported type and an owned possession. Choices include coastal batteries, turreted batteries, missile batteries, MTB squadrons, airship bases, and airbases.
- Enter a name where available. For an airbase or airship base, select a named site supplied by the configured game installation.
- Choose the permitted type or size. Occupied sites and the campaign's airbase-size limit restrict the available choices.
- Choose Stage to update the pending list.
- Review the list, choose Apply, then Save or Save As.
New installations are built instantly. Privateer does not deduct construction funds or create aircraft units for them. A second base of the same family cannot occupy an already used site.
Construction, retired, and unrecognized entries remain read-only. Removing installations is not supported. Reset changes restores the window's original values; Cancel discards its pending edits.
