Body Damage

There are four categories of 'body damage' that can be applied on the body.

Body Injuries

In the game, if you look at your health panel, you can see that there are several different locations on the body that can have an injury (a scratch, a laceration, a bite) inflicted upon it. All of these are visualized as a texture on the body, which you can apply here.

Every body part (barring the head, more on that in Known Issues) can either have a scratch, a laceration, a bite, a bandage, or a bloody bandage.

There are a few settings for easily randomizing the injuries inflicted on the body. You can select the random intensity of how many injuries will be on the body, and the percentage that each one will either be a scratch, a laceration, or a bite. Note that the chances between the three are automatically normalized.

You can also set the chance that an injury will be replaced by a bandage, and an additional chance that that bandage will be bloody.

Zombie Injuries

ZombieInjuries

Zombies can randomly have more gruesome injuries on their body. These injuries aren't linked to a specific body part, so you can add as many as you want.

There is a randomization option for how many zombie injuries to put on the body.

Bloodiness and Dirtiness

As you go around whacking zombies, your character will get more and more bloody and dirty on different parts of their body.

You can choose the intensity of bloodiness and dirtiness for each body part, as well as quickly randomly apply different amounts of blood or dirt across the body.

Warning

Because of the way that the dynamic mask textures are generated, it is heavily advised to not drag edit, multi edit, or animate the bloodiness and dirtiness properties, as it will cause a lot of lag. This will be addressed in the future.
