Practice tests for the US FCC commercial radio licence exams
- Version recorded: 1.0.7
-
Categories:
exams - Upstream: https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/fccexam
Practice questions for the FCC commercial radio operator licence elements -- the General Radiotelephone Operator Licence and the associated endorsements -- drawn from the published pools.
These are not the amateur exams. The GROL is what a technician maintaining aviation, marine or broadcast transmitters needs, and it comes up for amateurs who work professionally around radio. The Debian Blend's own note on this package says the same thing, because the confusion is common.
None.
- apt:
fccexam
Frequently mistaken for the amateur exam tool; that is hamexam. The pool snapshot caveat applies here too -- Ubuntu and Kali carry 1.0.8 against 1.0.7 elsewhere (measured 2026-08-28).
- probe: apt policy
- strategy: apt_upgrade
Debian declares no upstream Homepage; the tracker is cited rather than a guess.
