Set consists of 70 achievements worth 719 points
Set released on March 19th, 2026
This set, as well as many others, were part of the Wii Rollout on March 19, 2026.
Epic Mickey on its own, is a pretty linear game. But when accounting for the large amount of quests and collectibles in the game that are based on your decisions, it makes sense why there are more than 40 missables in the core set.
You will need to do at least 3.5 playthroughs of the game across two save files in order to achieve mastery:
- 1st Playthrough (File 1): Choose between doing "The Hero of Wasteland" or "The Thinner Path"
- 2nd Playthrough (File 1 - NG+ Playthrough 1): Collectible Cleanup (If you did "The Thinner Path" as your 1st playthrough, do the requirements needed for "The Hero of Wasteland" and vice versa)
- 3rd Playthrough (File 1 - NG+ Playthrough 2; only up to Ventureland): Get reward for getting all Film Reels (Mean Street 1) & finish the last Damien Salt questline (Ventureland 1 & 2)
- 4th Playthrough (File 2): Do the ending achievement that you didn't do in File 1 ("The Hero of Wasteland" or "The Thinner Path")
In a New Game Plus (NG+) playthrough, you carry over your collected pins, your collected film reels, your collected Concept Art, and wallet upgrades that you have obtained from your last playthrough. Everything else is reset (Power Sparks, Health Upgrades, Sketch Inventory & Upgrades, Quest Progress, and E-Ticket Wallet Balance).
Each main heading will contain a brief list/explanations of the collectibles found in that area and if they're only possible while doing the Paint Path ("The Hero of Wasteland") or the Thinner Path ("The Thinner Path").
Tip
It's highly recommended that you make save backups regularly in order to avoid bugs (more info in the "For the Bog the Bell Tolls" achievement) and missing something accidentally (as this game autosaves). An easy way to do this is by right-clicking the game in Standalone Dolphin, clicking "Open Wii Save Folder", and then copying the files found there.
After Mickey causes the "Thinner Disaster" and the Shadow Blot taking him to the Mad Doctor's Mechanical Arm, he narrowly escapes with his heart and acquires a brush in the process, making the Shadow Blot and Mad Doctor... scared of him? He also briefly encounters a lucky rabbit who might be his ticket out of here.
Collectibles
The Mad Doctor's Lab
Concept Art – The Mad Doctor's Lab II: After defeating the Mechanical Arm, a room opens up with the Concept Art inside
Bronze Pin: Found in the same room as the Concept Art, but in a chest
Castle Entrance
Gremlin Calvin (Paint): After spinning the gear to lower the Catapult, you will find this caged gremlin
Gold Pin (Paint): Obtained by freeing Gremlin Calvin

Concept Art – Dark Beauty Castle I: Thin out the toon stairs to find this Concept Art
Film Reel – Mickey and the Beanstalk: Fall into the chimney of the roof and you'll find the first of many film reels

|
Cause Gremlin Calvin to get launched away by stepping on the pressure plate in the Dark Beauty Castle It's best to do this while doing "The Thinner Path" as you need to free no gremlins (besides 1 in Mean Street 3). |
|
Receive the first Gold Pin from Gremlin Calvin The opposite of "Mischievous Mouse". It's best to do this while doing the Paint Path ("The Hero of Wasteland") as you aren't allowed to free gremlins while doing the Thinner Path. Misc note ⁃ This has to be done on your 1st playthrough or your 4th playthrough (via File 2) as Gremlin Calvin's Gold Pin has to be the first obtained Gold Pin on that save file in order for this achievement to unlock. |

After entering a Projector Screen, Mickey lands in the Gremlin Village and later meets a smaller, yet familiar foe from his past...

Gremlin Pinza (Paint): Right below the Concept Art, you will find this caged gremlin
Silver Pin: After freeing all of the gremlins, they will get rid of the Sweepers on the platforms and also reopen the platform that leads to a chest holding the Silver Pin (it's possible to get this Silver Pin without freeing the 4 gremlins by using the moving platforms that are to the right of the chest)
Asia Boat Ride
Gremlin Braun (Paint): After spinning a gear, climb up the pagoda to find this gremlin; he will also activate boats to make traversing the area easier
Gremlin Herman (Paint): After riding on the boats that Gremlin Braun activates, you will find this gremlin surrounded by dolls; refuse his offer to fix the whirlpools in order to get the bronze pin

Gold Pin: In the process of activating the fire bridge, paint in all of the gears to open an area with a chest that holds the pin

Film Reel – Steamboat Willie Part I: Use the cows and cranes to stay above the ground to find the film reel

Bronze Pin: After repairing Gus' house, you can enter his "humble household" and can collect a pin in the process
Bronze Pin (Paint) (Part 1): After you've grabbed the Captain's Log item from Small Pete's boat, hold on to it for when you meet Small Pete again or give it to Gremlin Bennet (no difference in what you do)
Gremlin Pin (Thinner): After you've grabbed the Captain's Log item from Small Pete's boat, give it to Gremlin Shaky (near the clock tower) to get the Gremlin Pin
Film Reel – Clock Cleaners Part I: You can enter this projector screen at the bottom of the clock tower; you must spin a switch in order to access the film reel here
Film Reel – Steamboat Willie Part II: It's best to get this film reel while doing the Thinner Path as you can't access Clock Cleaners Part II without freeing a gremlin; use the goat's music notes, cows, and cranes to get this film reel
Gremlin Ditto (Paint): At the top of the windmill that Gus fixes for you (after you paint his house), you will find this caged gremlin that is guarded by a Spatter
Film Reel – Clock Cleaners Part II: This projector screen only opens after freeing Gremlin Ditto; at the big gear with 3 platforms jump up to the higher platform and then jump over the flipping platform to find the film reel
European Boat Ride

Bronze Pin (Paint) (Part 2): If you kept the Captain's Log item from Small Pete's boat (did not give it to Gremlin Shaky) and either have it when entering the colosseum or gave it to Gremlin Bennet in World of Gremlins (again, no difference in what you do), Small Pete will open a treasure room with this pin in it

Film Reel – Steamboat Willie Part III (Paint): Again, use the cows and cranes to get this film reel

Reach Slalom from the Projector Screen Progression, can't be missed. |
|
Break the ride and then talk to Gremlin Tim to hear his disappointment It's best to do this while doing "The Thinner Path". After using Thinner on the Paint and Thinner pump to break the Spinning Cup ride in the Ticket Booth area of the Gremlin Village, talk to Gremlin Tim afterwards to unlock this achievement. |
|
Repair every ride in Gremlin Village It's best to do this while doing "The Hero of Wasteland". To get this achievement, you have to fix the Elephant ride & the Spinning Cup ride in the Ticket Booth area, open the door in the Jungle Boat Ride by painting the hippos, and painting in the pipes & spinning the center gear to fix the rides in the World of Gremlins area. |
|
Save Gus' House Right after fixing the rides in the World of Gremlins area of the Gremlin Village (by painting in the pipes and spinning the center gear), paint in Gus' house in order to get this achievement. |
|
Give Pete's Ship Log to Gremlin Shaky It's best to do this while doing "The Thinner Path". Instead of giving the Captain's Log item (or Pete's Ship Log in this case) to Gremlin Bennet in the World of Gremlins of the Gremlin Village or keeping it until you meet Small Pete again in the colleseum (Gremlin Village – European Boat Ride), give the Captain's Log item to Gremlin Shaky who is near the bottom of the clock tower in the World of Gremlins of the Gremlin Village to unlock this achievement. |
|
Make both the towers fall down at the Euroboat Ride It's best to do this while doing "The Thinner Path". In the European Boat Ride of the Gremlin Village *and *after arriving from the Steamboat Willie Part II projector screen, there are two towers you need to knock down. The first one is the Leaning Tower of Pisa that you see right after entering the area. To knock it down, spin attack both pillars in order to create a domino effect that will result in the tower falling. The second one is the Eiffel Tower. Use the clouds to climb up the tower and then thin out the supports and the achievement should unlock right after. |
|
Defeat or befriend the Clock Tower without taking damage Using Thinner is slightly easier than Paint as when you thin out the Clock Tower's hands, you don't have to deal with them again (unlike with Paint, if you take too long painting the other hand fully after painting one hand fully, the first hand will go back to normal). For the boss itself, just keep dodging its slam attacks and you'll eventually finish the fight flawlessly. - If you take damage - A Trigger Indicator will appear when you first enter the area, you enter the area from the main menu, and when you respawn after thinning out while in the area before the boss is defeated |

On a New Game, redeem or defeat Petetronic without taking damage nor spinning more than 20 times It may take a few tries to get this achievement as there is a little bit of RNG involved due to Petetronic's shield (it could take you 5-7 spins to hit him with the shield while sometimes it can take you only 3-4 spins with the shield). Phase 1: He will throw a blot of thinner at you twice, do a jump (you have to be in the air when he hits the ground in order to not get knocked back; goes for phase 2 & 3 as well), and then throw his disc with no shield; fill up his tank after stunning him (goes for phase 2 & 3 as well) Phase 2: He will throw 3 blots of thinner at you twice, do a jump, and then throw his disc without a shield; he will then repeat this pattern again but on the 2nd disc throw, he will have a shield (just keep spinning back the disc and you'll eventually hit him) Phase 3: Same as the 2nd phase but he will throw 5 blots of thinner instead of 3 and will throw the disc 3 times instead of 2 times (the 2nd & 3rd times being with a shield) Phase 4: Only appears if you fill up his tank with thinner, you'll have to spin back the disc one more time in order to defeat him - If you take damage - If you spin more than 20 times - A Trigger Indicator will appear when you first enter the area, you enter the area from the main menu, and when you respawn after thinning out while in the area before the boss is defeated |

Defeat the Mad Doctor in the Attic Progression, can't be missed. |
|
On a New Game, defeat the Mad Doctor in the Attic without taking damage There are two ways to defeat the Mad Doctor. You can either use the cart to send it flying to the Mad Doctor (Paint way) or you can thin out the red eyes for the 3 Beetleworx Generators (Thinner way). Both ways are around the same difficulty but the Thinner way is slightly more difficult. If you're attempting "The Hero of Wasteland", you can also free Gremlin Jarvis (in the Library) & Gremlin Stuffus (in the Ballroom) who will shut down the first two Beetleworx Generators for you (you still have to break the last one yourself though). When attempting the Paint way, the first thing you should do is get rid of the Tanker Beetleworx that is sitting in the middle of the arena. Doing this will let you take your time when placing sketches. Now, place the anvil sketch on the pressure plate on top of the elevated platform, power the track with the TV panel, and then quickly rush to the other pressure plate near the Mad Doctor and stand on it. If you've done that all correctly, the cart should go all the way to the Mad Doctor and crash into the machine. For the thinner way, you can get rid of the first 2 Beetleworx Generators right off the bat if you're fast enough. The 3rd generator is a bit tricky, though. Like the Paint way, get rid of the Tanker Beetleworx that is sitting in the middle of the arena. Afterwards, sit on the platforms a bit away from the Beetleworx near the Mad Doctor (or be aggressive with the enemies to get closer) and try to put a anvil sketch on the Tanker Beetleworx. You might need two anvil sketches for this considering there's a cutscene that plays when a generator opens for the first time but on the 2nd time, use another anvil sketch on the Tanker Beetleworx and thin out the last red eye to defeat the Mad Doctor. - If you take damage - A Trigger Indicator will appear when you first enter the area, you enter the area from the main menu, and when you respawn after thinning out while in the area before the boss is defeated |

Catch all of the bunnies in under 1 minute and 30 seconds on Bunny Roundup IV It's best to do this while doing "The Hero of Wasteland". After returning from Lonesome Manor, you are able to start the quest: "Bunny Roundup IV". There are 8 bunnies to catch in randomized spots (like what Big Bad Pete said, they can be around alleys, on the rooftops, or near the train station) and the timer starts when you catch the first one so it's best to herd all 8 and then catch them all at once. - 1 minute and 30 seconds (or 5400 frames) have passed - A Trigger Indicator will appear when you capture a bunny child in Mean Street Dev note ⁃ Timer counts frames at 60 FPS |

Defeat or befriend the Shadow Blot Progression, can't be missed. |

Phase 1: He will throw Thinner at you 3 times and then charge at you/grab you if you're close (x2); keep moving and you'll avoid the Thinner attacks Phase 2: He will throw Thinner at you 4 times, spawn a Spatter, and then charge at you/grab you if you're close (x3); befriend the Spatters that he launches to skip him spawning another one Phase 3: He will throw Thinner at you 5 times, charge & fire a Thinner ball, spawn a Spatter, and then charge at you/grab you (x3); when he starts to inhale you, be sure to move left or right or else you may fall victim to his tentacle attack - If you take damage - A Trigger Indicator will appear when you first enter the area, you enter the area from the main menu, and when you respawn after thinning out while in the area before the boss is defeated |

Collect at least 42 Power Sparks Most Power Sparks are found in quests on the Paint Path so if you're doing the Thinner Path, chances are you won't be able to get this achievement on that playthrough. A silver lining to this achievement is that it's possible to get an infinite amount of Power Sparks through the Emporium on a NG+ playthrough as they don't disappear from the shop after buying it for 200 E-Tickets. |

Reach full capacity in health This can either be done on your 1st or 4th playthrough (1st playthrough on File 1 or 1st playthrough on File 2) due to The Usher only giving out rewards once per file. This achievement is also limited by the fact that you have to be on the *Paint Path *in order to get all rewards (due to you having to repair Animatronic Goofy fully in order to get Ortensia's Locket & having to fix/destroy Hook's Machine) so if you're doing the Thinner Path as your 1st playthrough, you have to either not talk to The Usher after Mean Street 1 until you're on your 2nd playthrough or wait until your 4th playthrough if you have gotten the Health Upgrade from The Usher already. Capacity Upgrades 1st Health Capacity Upgrade: Given by The Usher in Mean Street when you present 28 film reels 2nd Health Capacity Upgrade: Available in the Ice Cream Parlor in Mean Street for 250 E-Tickets after returning from Tomorrow City 3rd Health Capacity Upgrade: Given by Oswald if you present Ortensia's Locket to him (found in Ortensia's House which is only unlocked if you repaired Animatronic Goofy fully) 4th Health Capacity Upgrade: Available in the Hut Shop in Ventureland for 400 E-Tickets (Hook's Machine has to be fixed/destroyed in order to access this shop) 5th Health Capacity Upgrade: Given by Gus after completing the "Battle of OsTown" quest after returning from Mickeyjunk Mountain for the 2nd time |
|

Collect 3,000 E-tickets You will have to get at least Wallet Upgrade from either the Mean Street Emporium or from The Usher by collecting 10 Film Reels in order to have the capacity in your wallet to collect 3,000 E-Tickets. You can also get another Wallet Upgrade (and 1,000 E-Tickets) from The Usher if you have 32 Film Reels. The best way to grind for E-Tickets is in Ventureland as the 40 plants located there have a high chance of giving White & Green E-Tickets (which are worth 10 & 30 E-Tickets respectively). You can then go in & out of the Tiki Hut or the Hut Shop to save your E-Ticket count and then you can thin out by using the Thinner pool located near the water wheel to reset the plants. - A Measured Indicator Every time the game autosaves, a Measured Indicator will appear and update to your current E-Ticket count |
|
In a single session, use up either Tints or Turps 12 times without thinning out, or going to the main menu A good place to do this in the levels Pirate Voyage & Skull Island as there are a bunch of Paint and Thinner pumps that are a really easy way to get guardians (Tints or Turps). You can also get guardians easily by defeating the Pirate Beetleworx enemy over and over again (unless you fixed Hook's Machine already). It's also easy to do this with the bloticles in OsTown after returning from Mickeyjunk Mountain for the 2nd time and the final phase of the sweepers in Inside the Blot. - If you thin out - If you quit to the main menu - A Measured Indicator A Measured Indicator will tick up to 12 when you hit a enemy with either a Tint or Turp |
