Make this item using the crafting or processing recipes below.
Place and open it with E or right-click. Add an input, add fuel separately, and collect the output. Fuel continues burning after ignition even if input runs out. The recipes below list processing time and accepted fuels.
A stone furnace with a recessed arched firebox. The embers glow while fuel is burning and go dark when it runs out.

Connect Item Pipes on any face. Blue Input at the back accepts fuel only; the other five faces accept smeltable ingredients only. Rear-fed logs burn as fuel, while logs entering another face become charcoal. Red Output takes finished products only. Use a Wrench to set each end. See the crusher → furnace setup.
