Survival Basics

Keep five resources under control

Resource What it affects How to recover
Health Survival and combat readiness Medical care, healing items, recovery
Hunger Long-term survival Eat food from Inventory or Quick Actions
Thirst Long-term survival Drink water and beverages
Stamina Movement and action capacity Stop moving or use Rest
Carry weight How much loot you can take Drop, store, sell, equip, or transfer items

Hunger or thirst at zero can cause ongoing damage. Open wounds can bleed or become infected, and fractures can disable limbs. Treat problems early instead of waiting for overall HP to become low.

Recommended supplies

Carry a balanced kit rather than filling the backpack with one category:

  • Food and water
  • Bandages and disinfecting supplies
  • A splint and pain relief when available
  • One close-range weapon
  • A ranged weapon with matching ammunition
  • Enough free carry capacity for useful loot

Day and night

The world uses real-time day/night lighting and a clock HUD. The app and map theme can follow a night presentation. NPCs also have daily routines, including sleep and survival tasks, so their activity changes over time.

Safezones and home

Your home location acts as a safezone and gives access to home-related services. A claimed house is a separate world object that can provide storage, interiors, upgrades, and survivor housing. Houses can also be targeted by raiders, so do not treat stored supplies as completely risk-free.

Persistence

The game saves progress locally, including your position and progression, inventory, equipment, injuries, vehicles, NPCs, owned houses, interiors, and looted-building state. Avoid clearing application data unless you intend to remove the save.

Practical survival tips

  • Loot selectively; weight is often more dangerous than scarcity.
  • Keep medical supplies in your backpack, because treatment consumes the required item.
  • Fight from within weapon range and maintain line of sight.
  • Use vehicle cargo and house containers to organize reserves.
  • Check active events for valuable supplies, but expect risk around high-value rewards.
