This function is used to check if all the samples in a dataset need to be or have already been normalized. It displays a histogram and box plots of log-fold change vs. median for all features in each spectrum. Dilution/ normalization effects are often visible as distributions not centered at 0.

Typical next steps: normalize (if needed). After normalization, you can do univariate-statistics or scale spectra for multiviariate analyses
