Calculates star alignment to a representative spectrum using alignment method of your choice - default is PAFFT.
alignment_method: string, either 'CCOW','PARCCOW','ICOSHIFT','RAFFT', or 'PAFFT'

Known bugs:
20JAN2019: FT had some problems with star_align1D and got errors.
23JAN2019: FT could only use PAFFT and RAFFT with star_align1D.
24JAN2019: SZ had no problem for CCOW, PARCCOW, PAFFT and RAFFT.
25FEB2019: 'ICOSHIFT' does not run correctly.
