1. Functional Requirements

• FR1: Academic Matching: The system shall suggest mentors based on the alignment of student majors and mentor academic backgrounds.
• FR2: Career Alignment: The system should pair users based on specific industry expertise and career field history.
• FR3: Experience Pairing: The system should match mentors and mentees based on shared life experiences and personal backgrounds.
• FR4: Availability Display: The system should provide a real-time view of a mentor’s available time slots.
• FR5: Appointment Booking: The system shall allow mentees to reserve mentorship sessions directly through an integrated interface.
• **FR6: User Account Creation: The system shall enable users to create an account by selecting specific roles (e.g., Mentor, Mentee) and providing unique authentication credentials.
