Notes on Dyslexia
Summary:
Dyslexia is a learning disability which mostly inhibits reading and spelling abilities. Rather than an issue with visual perception of words, dyslexia is a cognitive issue: identifying new words (decoding) is particularly difficult for those with dyslexia, as is reading text by sight ("fluent word recognition") - even for already-known words.
