The medium fidelity prototype can be opened by clicking on the link. Once on the figma website you can run the medium fidelity prototype by pressing the play button in the top right corner of the screen.

Functionality

Start Screen

The user starts on the "Start Screen", where they can enter the game by pressing the "Play" button. They can also open the "Sign in" screen by clicking on the sign in button which resembles a person's profile. This sign in button is also available on the following screens.

Sign in Screen

The user can insert a username into the text box, and then pressing the "Sign in" button. The user can also return to the Start screen by pressing the button in the top left corner.

Question Screen

The game displays distorted text in the centre of the screen with the user which input the original text above. Below is text which reads "Write what you can see in the box below." In the final prototype, the user will be able to insert their guess in the text box below but for this prototype, the user can proceed by simply pressing the submit button.

Answer Screen

The text at the top of the screen displays the original text with the original user credited below. At the bottom of the screen is a timeline of all the previous answers mapping how the text has changed over each iteration. In the final prototype, users would be able to proceed to a follow up question by pressing the "Next Question" button but for this prototype, this is where the demonstration ends.

Significant changes between Low and Medium Fidelity Prototypes

The medium fidelity prototype made the features of the system much more streamline, doing away with a lot of the various branches that the user could take in the system. The results page and the result timeline page were both compressed into the same page and the user feedback page was removed from the system entirely. The medium fidelity prototype also had a much more simplistic colour pallet. The majority of the system implemented a dark navy background and white font. This pallet was kept consistent over the system to avoid being disorienting.
