🔎 What It Is

The Proofreading page lists every text item of the project in a table, so that you can check and edit translations.

💡 For many changes, AGENT is easier: Help me review and correct the translation. The proofreading page is best for spot checks and small manual edits

⚠️ Automatic Checks

After translation, the app checks each translation automatically and marks problems with warnings:

Warning	Meaning
Foreign Character Residue	The translation still has characters of the source language
Text Preserve Failed	Code that must stay unchanged was changed. See [Text Preserve]
Glossary Not Applied	The glossary translation was not used. See [Glossary]
High Similarity	The translation is too similar to the source and is possibly not translated
Punctuation Structure Mismatch	The punctuation does not match the source
Line Count Mismatch	The number of lines does not match the source

• If warnings remain when you generate the translation, the app reminds you to let AGENT review first

🧭 Find the Items You Want

Tool	Use
Files	Show only some files
Filter	Filter by translation status, warning type, or glossary terms that are not applied
Search box	Supports Regex mode. You can select the search scope

Translation statuses are in three groups:

Group	Includes
Translated	Items that are translated
Not Complete	Items that are not translated yet or that failed
Not Required	Excluded, Rule Skipped, Non-target language, Duplicate Text

✏️ Edit Translations

Right-click items. Multiple selection is supported:

Operation	Purpose
Edit this item	Edit the translation. Saving also updates the status
Retranslate	Translate again with the current model
Clear Translation	Select Clear and Keep Status or Clear and Reset Status
Set Translation Status	Change the status manually, for example to include Rule Skipped items in translation
Context	Show the source text around the item
Raw Data	Show the item as it is in the source file

• Replace All: replace text in all search results

📄 PDF Preview

For PDF files, click Open preview to check the laid-out translation page by page against the original.
